Partnering with the City of Salem, the Prime Group has launched a project to develop a “Framework Plan” to design the Shetland Park Development Area. The project has the following objectives:

  • Engage in a transparent, equitable, and flexible engagement process that builds trust and takes in perspectives from diverse stakeholders.
  • Build a shared vision for Shetland Park directly shaped by diverse input and shared priorities.
  • Develop a Framework Plan which includes things like a development program, connections and views, open space network, distribution of height/density.

Seeking input from residents and business owners, the Prime Group will hold a Community Listening Session on Tuesday, April 12, 5:30 PM at the Salem Academy Gym located at 16 Lynch Street. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback.

In addition to Community Listening Sessions, the Prime Group is also encouraging stakeholders to sign up to receive email/text updates and to take a brief survey, which you can access by clicking on this link. Updates on the Shetland Park Development will be posted to the GA blog.
