North Shore REALTORS® Names Patrick Maguire as Chief Executive Officer
May 11th at 3:14pm.
The North Shore REALTORS® (NSR) announced today the hiring of Patrick Maguire as its new Chief Executive Officer, following a nationwide search. Maguire will replace Susan Kline, longtime CEO of the real estate association, who departed in April.
Maguire, a lifelong North Shore native, has served in the position of Government Affairs and Professional Standards Manager with NSR for the last two years.
“This is an exciting time for North Shore Realtors®,” said 2021 NSR President Timothy Shea. “Patrick has been a valued member of the association team and someone who our members rely on daily. As we progress into new territory in the Real Estate world, we are confident Patrick will be able to navigate the complex landscape that lies ahead. We are proud to have Patrick leading this association!"
Maguire joined NSR as staff in 2019 as the Manager of Government Affairs and Professional Standards after having served as a member in the organization since 2011. As a REALTOR® member, he held many local roles including NSR President in 2017. In addition, he was elected to positions on the state and national level of the organization. Maguire studied at Merrimac College and earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. He lives in Georgetown with his wife and two children.
In a letter to membership, Maguire remarked, “NSR has a long-standing history of being value-focused for our membership. This transition brings opportunity to broaden and strengthen that legacy. It is an honor to steward NSR into its next chapter.”
Kline announced her impending departure in January after 17 years serving in the position of CEO of the association of over 1,200 members. Maguire will step into the position immediately.
The North Shore REALTORS® Board of Directors appointed a five-member Search Committee, consisting of current leadership and past presidents, to work with executive search firm Martin and Downs to recruit candidates for the CEO position.
