Within the 2024 Housing Bond Bill, the state legislature passed changes to home inspection regulations with the intent of mandating that every buyer would have the opportunity to do a home inspection. You can find the final version of these regulations here.These regulations are not in operation until October 15.
This does not require that a buyer has a home inspection but only that they are given a reasonable opportunity to perform one if they so choose.
