The Haverhill City Council voted to affirm a previous order to accept a conservation restriction on 53.8 acres of land. The land will be preserved for open space, water supply protection and passive recreation. The three parcels of land commonly known as “Meserve Woods” are located near Crystal Lake, a public drinking water supply.
The Council originally submitted the order in June of last year but needed a final vote for approval.
