Haverhill City Council Oversight on Development Modifications

The Haverhill City Council unanimously passed a proposal which clarifies what types of development modifications require a revised site plan and possibly an additional public hearing. The following project changes are considered “Major Modifications” and would thus need Council approval:

  • Revisions to the size and location of buildings
  • Structural additions
  • Changes to parking
  • Any other changes that deviate from original site plans

“Minor modifications” include changes to a building’s features that do not impact abutters. Any updates will be posted on the NSR blog.
