Gloucester City Council Votes on 2nd Round of Proposed Zoning Changes

The Gloucester City Council voted on proposed zoning changes related to the development of three-family homes and increasing the maximum building height from multifamily. Please see the voting results below:
Allow three-family dwellings to be built by right in the R-5 district. 6-3 against
Increase maximum building height to 35 feet for three (or more) family dwellings in the R-30, R-20, R-10, R-5, Civic Center, and Central Business zoning districts. 6-3 against
Increase maximum building height to 45 feet for multifamily dwellings in the Civic Center and Central Business zoning districts. 5-4 against
