NSR celebrates the accomplishments of REALTORS® and Community members for their contributions to the industry, community, and housing. Congratulations to our 2024-2025 Award Recipients, thank you for all that you do!
REALTOR® OF THE YEAR
Presented annually, the NSR REALTOR® of the Year award recognizes one REALTOR® for outstanding contribution and participation in activities that promote and advance the industry and community at large over the past eighteen months. Each year the winner’s credentials are forwarded to the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® to be in the running to be named state REALTOR® of the Year, an honor that is recognized at the National REALTORS® convention in November.
Our REALTOR® of the year for 2025 is Adeline Matton. Read Adeline’s profile below to learn more about her significant contributions to the real estate industry and to our organization.
North Shore REALTORS® (NSR) recognizes Adeline Matton, Aluxety, as the 2025 NSR REALTOR® of the Year. The announcement was made by NSR’s 2024 REALTOR® of the Year and Southern Essex Register of Deeds Eileen Duff at the NSR June EXPO on June 12th.
With NSR, she’s led the Board of Directors, crafted the strategic vision, and piloted the association in creating new event engagement opportunities, specifically working with Affiliates.
On the state level, Adeline has served on the Board of Directors, Forms Committee, and Government Affairs Committee. Over the last two years she has lent her voice and expertise to critical conversations as new laws and lawsuits changed the industry.
At the national level, she has represented NSR at multiple NAR events, supported the REALTOR® Relief Foundation, is a recurring Crystal R investor, and has embraced REALTOR® education with the latest example becoming a new SRS designee.
Her work in the community is unrivaled. She is a standout member of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Amesbury, the Amesbury Chamber of Commerce, and the 2024 Amesbury Board of Registrars as well as a champion of charity efforts including coordinating support for the Pettengill House, Our Neighbors Table, and the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center.
The association in so many ways has benefited greatly from her leadership.

RISING STAR
NSR's Rising Star is given to a member who has been a REALTOR® for less than 30 months, has documented sales, and is active with NSR.
Congratulations to the 2025 recipient Peter Manoogian, Littlefield Real Estate!
Peter joined NSR in 2024. Since joining, he has amassed over 52 sides and a volume approaching 11 million dollars. His sales have run the gambit of every property type found in MLS, from single families to rentals to commercial and even business opportunities. Peter has also quickly immersed himself in the association. He's attended the June EXPO, Sunshine & Ice Cream, and was recently appointed to the Government Affairs Committee.
Peter has continued to make an impact in his community. He currently serves on the School Committee and is a Precinct 10 Town Meeting Member. During the past year he worked closely with the Saugus Town Manager to draft and support the MBTA Overlay District, which passed unanimously.

HOME OWNERSHIP ADVOCATE
The Home Ownership Advocate is given to a REALTOR® or community member to recognize the efforts and actions they have taken to promote homeownership in their community.
Congratulations to the 2025 recipient Elizabeth Palma-Diaz, CHAPA!
Promoting homeownership can come in many forms. Sometimes, it is those behind the scenes that have a major impact on the ability of individuals to access the dream of homeownership. Since 1997, Elizabeth has been working to assist first time homebuyers prepare for homeownership. In 2019, she became the Senior Program Manager for CHAPA, overseeing the MA Homeownership Collaborative. Over the last year, Elizabeth has taken on the tremendous task of overhauling the Collaborative’s requirements and material for the CHAPA approved First Time Homebuyer Courses. This effort will help educate prospective new homeowners for decades to come.

OUTSTANDING NSR SERVICE
This award is traditionally presented to a REALTOR® member who demonstrates outstanding committee service and works diligently behind the scenes for the betterment of the members and the Association.
Congratulations to the 2025 recipient Nancy Peterson, J Barrett & Company!
Nancy started with NSR in 2018. They have come to over a dozen events and taken regular advantage of our educational offerings.
Volunteering on a committee is easy, being good on a committee is not. There is a flow to it, a nuance of when to discuss and when to listen, of when to push further and when to hold back. Nancy has this down to a science. When she speaks, we listen, because the association is better for it. If she is silent, it’s because the rest of us have stumbled in the right direction and there is nothing else to add.
Every year Nancy has been an active participant on one committee or another. It could be working on Homebuyer Education; it could be volunteering with Community Involvement & Investment; or it could be making sure NSR has the best Member Benefits available. During her time with NSR, she has consistently made time for the association and her contributions have made NSR that much better.

AFFILIATE OF THE YEAR
This award is given to an affiliate who contributes their knowledge, time and support to the NSR.
Congratulations to the 2024 recipient Kosta Diamantopoulos, CrossCountry Mortgage!
In this business, everyone needs someone in their corner. Someone to help support their clients, a partner for their business, and someone who can always come to their aide in good times and bad. Kosta is that person. Whether it be as a volunteer, event organizer, or partner in business.
Ever since joining NSR in 2021, they have been a dedicated member of the Community Involvement and Investment Work Group. In just 4 years, he has attended 17 NSR events and served as a critical contact to the association for multiple sponsorships.
This year we held our first Affiliate appreciation event during which this individual stepped forward to tell the group what the association has meant to them. NSR couldn’t have been more honored. Kosta's involvement in the industry goes beyond NSR. He also works with other associations as well as being a Strategic Partner for Women’s Council of REALTORS®.

GOOD NEIGHBOR
The Good Neighbor Award recognizes a REALTOR® for their extraordinary commitment to community service, improving the lives of local residents and making their community a better place to live.
Congratulations to the 2024 recipient Mark Vadala, Vadala Real Estate!
Amongst the many organizations in which Mark participates, he was last year’s chair of the Annual Rotary Club Comedy Night and a current Director of the North Shore Health Project.
His volunteer efforts include working for the Open Door Food Pantry, assisting the Harbor to Bay benefit bike race, collecting canned goods for the Luminaries & Love Annual Gloucester Overdose Vigil, and building housing through Habitat for Humanity.
Mark also lends support through fundraising, benefiting such organizations as The Ocean Alliance, amfAR – the Foundation for AIDS research, and The Trevor Project
We don’t have space to list all the causes in which Mark donates to, but some notable examples include The Cape Ann Pride Coalition, The Children’s Center for Communication, Fenway Health, and the Gloucester Fund
