We couldn’t do it without you!

REALTOR® OF THE YEAR
Presented annually, the NSR REALTOR® of the Year award recognizes one REALTOR® for outstanding contribution and participation in activities that promote and advance the industry and community at large over the past eighteen months. Each year the winner’s credentials are forwarded to the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® to be in the running to be named state REALTOR® of the Year, an honor that is recognized at the National REALTORS® convention in November.
Our REALTOR® of the year for 2024 is Eileen Duff. Read Eileen’s profile below to learn more about her significant contributions to the real estate industry and to our organization.
The North Shore REALTORS® (NSR) recognizes Eileen Duff, Keller Williams Realty Evolution, as the 2024 NSR REALTOR® of the Year. The announcement was made by NSR’s 2023 REALTOR® of the Year Karen Hanson at the NSR June EXPO on June 13th.
Eileen has been a leader on our Board of Directors, helped organize new events like our Watch Parties and Sunshine & Ice Cream, and volunteered her time through NSR events like the REALTOR® Volunteer Day with Citizens Inn.
On the state level, she was the 2023 Chair of the MAR Diversity, Inclusion, and Member Engagement Committee overseeing the development of a Diversity Training Workshop and the beginning of a statewide book discussion group.
At the national level she has supported the REALTOR® Relief Foundation, has been a Sterling R Major Investor, and traveled the country representing NSR at various events.
Eileen has been a stalwart leader in NSR’s advocacy mission. Being an outspoken advocate at REALTOR® Day on the Hill, assisting NSR in procuring two different Lt. Gov’s as Keynote speakers, and utilizing her relationships down in DC so that NSR can connect directly with Representative Seth Moulton. For 12 years she has served on the Governor’s Council for our region, and she is currently running to be the next Southern Essex Registrar of Deeds.
Congratulations to Eileen Duff, our 2024 NSR REALTOR® of the Year!

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR
NSR's Rookie of the Year is given to a member who has been a REALTOR® for less than 30 months, has documented sales, and is active with NSR.
Congratulations to the 2024 recipient Shannon McInnis, Keller Williams Realty Evolution!
Shannon joined NSR in 2023 and has already compiled 28 sides with a total volume of over 11.5 million dollars. Beyond being a fixture at NSR events, she has completed both the ABR and SRS Designation training and sits on the NSR Community Involvement & Investment Work Group.
Even with all that, Shannon still has time to be an active participant in her community. She has organized donation drives to support No Child Goes Hungry in Peabody, assisted in fundraising events for Caring for a Cure at MGH Boston, participated in KW Red Day, and collected children’s books and donated bookcases to assist in building a shelter library. She has also organized donation events for New Hope Rescue, Great Dog Rescue, Rescue Inc., and North East Animal Rescue.

HOME OWNERSHIP ADVOCATE
The Home Ownership Advocate is given to a REALTOR® or community member to recognize the efforts and actions they have taken to promote homeownership in their community.
Congratulations to the 2024 recipient Angelo Nuby, MassHousing!
Over his career, Angelo has been influential to first time homebuyers across Massachusetts. On the North Shore, he has been a pivotal piece both in the developing and instructing of the NSR CHAPA approved First Time Homebuyer Course since joining the Homebuyer Education Committee in 2020.
Angelo has lent his experience from being involved in other courses from around the state to make our course amongst the state leaders in quality of education. He was especially helpful during implementation of the Spanish course.
Outside the First Time Homebuyer Course, if you have been to the NSR June EXPO you’ve likely seen Angelo running the MassHousing table and assisting REALTORS® in learning more about how MassHousing can assist their clients.

OUTSTANDING NSR SERVICE
This award is traditionally presented to a REALTOR® member who demonstrates outstanding committee service and works diligently behind the scenes for the betterment of the members and the Association.
Congratulations to the 2024 recipient Henry Pizzo, Aluxety!
Henry has been actively involved in almost 40 different NSR committees, acting as Chair 7 separate times. He has also been to over 50 NSR events and utilized the NSR School to obtain multiple designations. Henry has been integral in association planning, having participated in every Strategic Planning Task Force over the last 10 years.
While we know his service to the association will never waiver, one particular role is coming to an end in 2024. For the last three years, Henry has been an incredible NSR Treasurer, successfully caretaking the financial health of the association out of the pandemic and NSR thanks him for his service in this role.

AFFILIATE OF THE YEAR
This award is given to an affiliate who contributes their knowledge, time and support to the NSR.
Congratulations to the 2024 recipient Meredith Fine, Law Office of Meredith A. Fine!
In a world where we are increasingly moving outward serving larger and larger areas, there are still those that stand as a fixture of their local community. That is the case for Meredith, and her community of Cape Ann.
Within NSR, Meredith has stepped up in sponsorships to support Cape Ann REALTORS® and has been an incredible asset to the First Time Homebuyer Course. Her consistent willingness to instruct and ability to deliver the content ensures FTHB attendees have a clear picture of the real estate legal process and her instruction has directly contributed to the success of the program.
In her community, Meredith has represented clients in many different circumstances, not just in real estate. She also played an integral part in the latest renovation and improvement of the Sawyer Free Library as well as serving on the board of Open Door and Temple Ahavat Achim.
