Investing in REALTORS® and our Industry

National Association of REALTORS® Political Action Committee and Political Advocacy Fund

The REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC) is the only political group in the country organized for REALTORS® and run by REALTORS®. RPAC supports candidates regardless of political affiliation who build strong communities, protect property interests, and promote a vibrant business environment. RPAC investment is capped at $500 per year and is open only to REALTOR® members or Affiliates. Mass RPAC contributes campaign funds to political candidates that understand and champion REALTOR® issues.

The National Association of REALTORS® Political Advocacy Fund (NAR PAF) can be used to help pay for certain grassroots political programs, such as NAR's Opportunity Races, or for costs incurred in administering and promoting RPAC. There is no limitation to the amount that can be invested in NAR PAF.

Investing in RPAC and NAR PAF is one way to contribute to the REALTOR® Party. The REALTOR® Party is also made up of two other aspects: Vote and Act.

  • Vote: REALTORS® working together to vote to protect REALTOR® interests and educate voters about issues that affect property ownership
  • Act: REALTORS® working together to act in support of policies and regulations that promote home ownership and the real estate industry

Hundreds of NSR members invest in RPAC and NAR PAF each year, accounting for tens of thousands of dollars in investment. The median investment from members is $25.

In 2019, NSR was presented with the Local RPAC Triple Crown and Local President’s Cup Award.
