NSAR’s 2018 REALTOR® of the Year is Amy Wallick


The North Shore Association of REALTORS® (NSAR) recognized Amy Wallick, J. Barrett & Company, Beverly as the 2018 NSAR REALTOR® of the Year at the Association’s June Event & Expo at the Danversport before an audience of over 200 REALTORS® and guests.

The prestigious award was announced by NSAR Past-President and 2018 Awards Work Group Chair, Patrick Maguire, RE/MAX Advantage, Beverly who explained that the award recognizes one outstanding member who has made a significant contribution to the advancement of the real estate profession and the community at large.

An active REALTOR® at the local, state, and national levels of the organization, Amy first joined the North Shore Association of REALTORS® in April 2008, served as its president in 2013, and is currently serving her second term on NSAR’s Board of Directors.  She also serves on the Building Task Force, the Finance Committee, the Orientation Committee and is Chair of the Nominating Committee.

On the state level, Amy has served as the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® Northern Regional Vice President and was one of the first to be elected as an MAR Director at Large. She is a member of the MAR Executive Committee and a distinguished graduate of the most recent MAR Leadership Academy. She is a member of the 2018 MAR Leadership Development Committee, the Strategic Planning Review Committee and also serves as Vice-Chair of the MAR Government Affairs Committee.

She is also involved with the National Association being appointed to serve on the NAR Conventional Financing & Policy Committee. She is an active advocate for property rights attending meetings with legislators both in Washington D.C. and on Beacon Hill and has consistently been an NAR RPAC Major Investor.

The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® will honor Amy as NSAR REALTOR®  of the Year, along with recipients from other local associations, at its Professional Awards Reception in September at the MAR Awards Dinner in Framingham.
