Congratulations to First EHO Course Graduates

Real Estate professionals from the North Shore participated in the North Shore Association of REALTORS ( NSAR) first offering of the NAR Expanding Housing Opportunities Course (EHO).    The training course was developed to train NSAR members to help families overcome stumbling blocks to affordable housing.

Expanding Housing Opportunities encompasses business opportunities, programs, products and resources to help to expand housing availability and ensure an adequate supply of housing options for all in both the rental and homeownership sectors.

 Participants included REALTORS, non-profit housing organizations and lenders.  Instructors Linda Kody, Kody and Company and Lisa Fiandaca, MassHousing lead the group through existing local community  programs, partnerships, and  financing opportunities available to meet the needs of the North Shore Community.

A searchable database of Financial Assistance Programs can be found at NorthShoreMAHomePrograms.com, a consumer website developed by the North Shore Association of REALTORS.    Graduates of the EHO program will be listed on the website.
