6.20.12 Kevin Wallace is 2012 NSAR REALTOR of the Year

The North Shore Association of REALTORS® (NSAR) announced that Kevin Wallace, Stone Ridge Properties is the 2012 NSAR REALTOR® of the Year at the Association's June 14th Membership Event & Expo at the Mansion on Turner Hill in Ipswich. The prestigious award was announced by 2011 recipient, Bert Beaulieu, who explained that the purpose of the award is to recognize one outstanding member who has, in the past 18 months, made a significant contribution to the advancement of the real estate profession and the community at large. Kevin Wallace will be recognized at NSAR’s Recognition Event in October.

6.1.12 NSAR and the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless Join Forces for Furniture Bank Program

The North Shore Association of REALTORS® (NSAR) has joined forces with the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless Furniture Bank program to help provide furniture and household goods for those in need. The program begins June 1, 2012 and is on-going.

2.13.12 Federal Housing Priorities Topic of NSAR Membership Event

REALTOR public policy priorties will be discussed at the March 22nd NSAR Membership Event to be held at the Danversport Yacht Club. Topics include MID (mortgage interest deduction), reform of Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac and legislative efforts to continue to make affordable flood insurance available.
