- About NSAR
The North Shore Association of REALTORS® (NSAR) is a non-profit advocacy, support, and education resource for REALTORS® and the public.
Individuals that are sole proprietors, partners, corporate officers, or branch office managers and are engaged actively in the real estate profession and maintain or are associated with an established real estate office in Massachusetts or a nearby state are eligible to become REALTOR® members. Every individual who is a partner in a partnership, or an officer in a corporation, or a trustee of a trust who is actively engaged in the real estate profession within the state or a contiguous state contiguous qualifies for REALTOR® Membership only. REALTOR® Membership in an Association of REALTORS® within the state or a adjoining state is required for these individuals.

Designated REALTOR® Membership
Each firm (or office in the case of firms with multiple office locations) needs to identify one REALTOR® member that will be responsible for all duties and obligations of Membership including the obligation to arbitrate and the payment of association dues. The "Designated REALTOR®" must be a sole proprietor, partner, corporate officer, or branch office manager acting on behalf of the firm's principal(s) and must meet all other qualifications for REALTOR® Membership.
Affiliate members are individuals that operate in a business that touches on the real estate industry. While not REALTORS®, they engage with the real estate profession on a regular basis.
